Nature of Dispute: Establishment of a policy that affects the terms and conditions of employment without proper consultation and in violation of the Collective Agreement. 

Result of Grievance: The grievance was withdrawn by WUFA, without prejudice, on July 2, 2025.  The University ultimately consulted with WUFA and enacted WUFA’s suggested changes to the Policy.  WUFA will remain vigilant to ensure that the revised Policy is followed, especially with respect to the University’s commitment to not use anonymous reports as evidence in any formal or informal deliberation, action, or proceeding involving any WUFA member.
