March 11, 2026 OCUFA’s Contract Faculty Committee held their annual Social Media Day of Action. This is a day dedicated to recognizing the important contributions that sessional and contract faculty make to Ontario universities.  The WUFA Sessional Committee organized a social media campaign highlighting several of our outstanding sessional instructors to celebrate the contributions they make to the University of Windsor.

The University of Windsor and the Windsor University Faculty Association (WUFA) met on Wednesday, August 27 to sign the tentative agreement that was reached on June 3, 2025.

The WUFA banner was spotted at the front of 2025 Labour Day Parade organized by the Windsor & District Labour Council.   Thank you Brian E. Brown for representing WUFA at the parade.  The parade is an opportunity for local union members to stand proud, celebrate our solidarity and honour the generations of workers who have built and continue to shape our communities. Family, friends and colleagues gathered on May 12, 2025 to honour Dr. Camisha Sibblis as the 2025 recipient of the Mary Lou Dietz Equity Leadership Award.  An award reception was held in Assumption Hall’s Freed-Orman Centre.
